SweetSpot Cakes was born from a lifelong passion for baking and creating desserts that bring people together. Inspired by the traditional flavours and warmth of Portugal, everything is handcrafted with quality ingredients, timeless recipes, and an elegant touch.
What started as a passion in my kitchen at the age of 14 has grown into SweetSpot Cakes in the Netherlands, where every order is made to celebrate life's special moments — because every moment deserves a sweet spot.

There's no fixed lead time — timing is confirmed together in a short consultation when you enquire. Next-day pickup is often possible; for larger or fully custom cakes, a little more notice helps us plan.

Pickup is in Nieuwegein, at hours to be agreed. Delivery can be arranged across Utrecht and the surrounding area for an additional fee depending on distance — just let us know your location when ordering.
Absolutely. Most orders are personalised — choose from the menu or request a fully custom cake with your own base, filling and design to match your celebration.
Every recipe is made with care using our signature ingredients, so at the moment we're unable to make substitutions. That said, please let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when ordering — we're always happy to advise. Our kitchen works with nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs.
Payment details are confirmed when you place your order. Payment is due before delivery.
